Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Field Representative Manager to lead our field operations, coordinate agent activities, and serve as the critical link between our head office and grassroots operations. This role is essential in driving the adoption of our digital solutions in communities, ensuring compliance, and optimising user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and supervise field agents and local representatives.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor agent performance and customer satisfaction.
- Train field agents on Kang Fintech’s services, compliance requirements, and customer engagement practices.
- Implement field marketing strategies to boost product awareness and adoption.
- Ensure proper reporting of daily activities, client feedback, and technical issues.
- Act as the liaison between the field team and internal departments (Operations, Compliance, Marketing).
- Support the monitoring of regulatory compliance in field operations.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the senior management team.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role (preferably in fintech, telecom, or financial services).
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile-based reporting tools.
- Ability to travel extensively across regions.
- Fluency in English and/or French.
Desirable:
Previous experience managing agent networks or mobile money operations.
Familiarity with Cameroon’s fintech ecosystem and digital financial services.

What's the Currency in Cameroon?
The currency in Cameroon is the Central African CFA franc. As the official legal tender in Cameroon, the Central African CFA franc is officially recognized by the Cameroonian government, meaning you can use it to settle all financial obligations in the country, including paying for goods, services, taxes, and debts.
Although the CFA franc is pegged to the value of the euro (€1 = fr.CFA 655.957), the euro itself isn't accepted in Cameroon. However, bureaux de change can commonly be found in larger cities like Douala and Yaoundé.
